Quite possibly the worst Wi-Fi I have ever used as evidenced by the horrible connection speeds on all three of my Apple devices with about three other people, none of whom appear to be using Wi-Fi simultaneously, present. I had to walk past 8-9 dirty tables before stopping to clean off one to sit down while staff could be seen chatting it up and laughing and having a good time.

I do love Panera, and maybe I haven't taken notice at other Panera's, but this particular location has literally about 3 places to plug in. For a business with free wi-fi where one might go to plug in, work, and sip some java, this place is lacking. I also ordered a cookie and asked that it be warmed...in which I was told that there was a microwave hidden behind the coffee that I could use myself. Boo.

Panera is definitely my favorite lil stop for their pick two of broccoli cheddar soup and multiple wonderful panini options. This is a chain so if you like Panera, the East Greenwich location doesn't disappoint. Easy parking, free wi-fi, and friendly staff.

I love the italian combo sandwich! It's my favorite. Sometimes I get a turkey & Swiss on country white bread with lettuce, tomato, mayo! Also very good! Broccoli cheddar soup is also a favorite. And green tea iced tea is so refreshing I've been going there for years. It's usually pretty quick and very clean & comfortable. I can no longer ask for an apple for my side tho (the last time I did I bit into it and it was bad, I'm scarred) if I'm having soup I love to get the bread on the side & dip! For a sandwich I get the chips. They're tasty. The bagels & coffee is good in the morning also. If I'm in a rush I call and order it ahead to go. The sandwich's & salads seem to always have very fresh ingredients with great flavor.

This place continues to lose me every visit. I remember coming here many years ago and the customer service was the benchmark for all other fast food chains. I'm not sure what has happened since, but this location has definitely lost sight of what drives the business. The counter girls have no personality whatsoever. I always feel as though I ruined their day by coming here. Also, I never get asked about the panera card as if it doesn't exist any more. The last visit I had to wait 20 minutes for a bacon turkey bravo and a broc and cheddar soup. The food quality is still consistent, however, but I'm not sure if I feel it's worth the $12 I paid. It's all about the experience, and here I don't feel like it's an experience any more.

Food always looks like it's been thrown together. Service is always slow and the employees always look like they have no idea what's going on. Good place for something quick like one of their pastries but other than that not worth the wait for a sandwich, etc. Also, their rapid pickup app is always down so don't bother trying to use it.

I just moved to the area so I've only been to this location twice...but both times there have been an error with my order. The first time, they gave me a cinnamon raisin bagel instead of french toast. The second time, they didn't give me any dressing for my greek salad. Also they put the pasta container sideways in the bag so it leaked through and stained my car seat. Wrong item then forgetting an item... not cool. I guess from now on i'll be double checking before leaving since I can't trust them to get a small order correct.

It's a stock Panera, no better or worse than any of the others ones that I've been to. The food is standard, tasty for the most part, depending on what you order, and the coffee is fine, neither the best nor the worst I've ever had. The service has been acceptable, except for the one time they forgot that my wife had ordered a bagel and cream cheese, even though it was on the order slip. Sometimes I'm not crazy about the parking lot of this shopping area, but that's mostly near Dave's and Gold's Gym, where people are a little wacky and speedy. Down at the end near this Panera, it's not quite so bad. We'll be back on occasion, but probably are not making any special trips here, as they're definitely a little on the pricey side of things for what you're getting.

Disappointing. Continually. The food was fine. It's cookie-cutter that has little variation from location to location. That's part of what makes it work. Soba noodle broth bowl with chicken was actually quite tasty. The people that work at the East Greenwich location are all friendly and helpful. They have good attitudes and are good ambassadors for the brand. So what's the problem? ORDERING. I have called it in. They said, no problem give us 10 minutes. I waited and went 20 minutes later, wanting to make sure it was done. NOPE. Had not even been started. Waited another 10 minutes standing around. Okay, let's try this agin. How about ordering it ONLINE? Order and pay for it in advance - the website says "avoid waiting in line, blah, blah, f-ing blah" So, I tried this approach. I ordered and paid online. Order at 12:11 pm. E-mail confirmation says the order will be ready to pick up and go at 12:21. (I'm thinking - no way that's going to happen so I showed up at 12:30). Guess what? Not only was the order not ready, it had not been started and no one had any record of it. WTF? Good thing I printed out the confirmation e-mail. So I stood around and waited 15 minutes for it to be made. No offer of a discount or, god forbid, comping the lunch - nor did I ask for anything. I did, however, make it clear to a lovely employee name Jess that this process was an issue and needed to be addressed or not offered - she said, with a smile "we have no control over it." I also thought, okay, maybe it's me. I just get bad luck trying to save time and order ahead. Survey says.....WRONG. Another customer walked in, stood around for a couple of minutes until someone acknowledged her and went through nearly the same exact dialogue as I did. She had ordered and paid online, etc., etc. I guess the chain doesn't need my money and I really should patronize the local guys - which I most often do. This just solidifies that sentiment.

I like Paneras. Like any other chain restaurant, you get what you expect. In Panera's case, it's better pastries, different coffees, a choice of soups and sandwiches, and a place to sit with friends or business folks for as long as you want, with Internet connectivity. The setting is perfectly pleasant, and so are the staff, pretty much whichever branch you go to. If you don't like one, you're probably not going to like any of them; if you like one, you'll probably like them all. And I've been to a lot in a bunch of different states.

I usually get the turkey bravo, chipotle chicken panini, or tuna on honey wheat! My go to when I don't feel like cooking and want a quick and sort of healthy meal.

I enjoy Panera in general and most of the ones I have been to have been decent for what Panera is. I walked into this Panera after circling their limited parking lot and noticed a lot of the tables that still had not been cleared off and some garbage on the ground in different parts of the restaurant. I was only going to be getting my favorite bagel to go, Asiago Cheese, so I wasn't too concerned. I went up to the counter and noticed there is not one bagel left of any kind. It's 11am during the week. I feel that Panera and other places of the same need to time their baking better because a customer should always have at least a few different bagels to choose from. I left and ventured to the Panera near my house that I know would have my bagel.

THIS PLACE IS DIRTY AND SMELLY!!! I have been to many Panera Bread restaurants, both in RI and in the Washington, DC area and have always been pleased with the standard fare and cleanliness and since it was "just Panera Bread" I never thought to review them. However, given that the Panera I frequent the most, the one in East Greenwich near my house, and given that it has smelled filthy the last three times I went there, I felt I actually had to warn people that this place is definitely not clean. I just read about the person who says she contracted Noro virus there. I am definitely not surprised. First of all, I have to admit with a view towards full disclosure, that I have a VERY sensitive and discerning nose. This is not always a good thing. I can smell stuff that most people cannot pick up with their own proboscis, I can smell (and have smelled) that someone is eating an apple with peanut butter when I walk in the house on the first level and that person is upstairs. It's that sensitive. The past few times I was at Panera (and I kept forgetting, and kept going back) it was obvious that someone had been cleaning all the counters in this joint with the same filthy cloth or sponge that had not been washed in a very, very long time. It's not even sanitary to clean your own counters with a sponge, due to the germs that pile up in a sponge. So, I could smell the bacteria build-up on the counters that had been cleaned with the filthy, bacteria-laden article that had been used in this particular Panera location. Now, if this were just one occasion, I would forgive it. But on two repeat occasions, my nose detected the same smell of old bacteria that had been repeatedly spread over the surfaces of this very popular and somewhat pricey sandwich shop. The food is quite decent, the bagels are great (the coffee is weak). Oh yes, and the young woman who has been at the cash register lately has been quite snotty. But most importantly, the place is dirty, dirty dirty and I am never going in there again!! I wanted to find someone inside the restaurant and tell them about the bad smell the last time I was there, but honestly did not know who I should approach, thus this review. Seriously, folks, I am not a nut. You may feel free to read my other reviews. This is a first for me!

Love the Mac and Cheese by the nice fire pit. Very nice casual work/relaxation atmosphere. Not the best panera I've seen so far but it's up there. There is also a very nice large and roomy space with a high roof so you don't feel jammed in.

Standard Panera, and for fast food, standard Panera is pretty good. I recommend the black bean soup, the iced green tea, and any of the salads with a side of their delicious bread.

Sometimes when it's cold outside and you need a little pick me up to warm your insides, a bowl of cream of chicken & wild rice soup from Panera does the trick. I went in the other day and ordered a bowl of soup to go and after the 20 minute ride home, my soup was still nice and hot! It tasted great and I felt all warm and fuzzy inside again :)

I GOT NOROVIRUS. Which means that there was mouse crap somewhere in my food. Somebody must've failed to wash their hands or the counter top properly, or stored food in an unsafe manner. I had gotten a breakfast panino and it was the only thing I ate that day. (I was told it is corporate policy for the overnight "excess" or cleaning crew to prepare all of the panini the night before--which would explain the poo contamination, and why they refuse substitutions and omissions.) I spent nearly an entire week-long business trip violently emptying myself from both ends. The thought of going to this or any other Panera again reminds me of the simultaneous violent diarrhea and vomiting for three straight days. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Their menu no longer includes my favorite, the steak & blue cheese salad. Don't know if this is specific to the area or chain-wide. Either way I won't be back to this PB. Slow service.

Once again, was hoping for a half star... because I think Panera gets a solid 2 1/2. But since slightly exceeding my expectations of soulless chain food they got the 1/2 star bump. And that 1/2 star lies entirely on there breakfast sandwich. If there is one thing i cannot stand is a microwaved egg... like come on, seriously people... fi that is the best you can come up with... don't bother selling a breakfast sandwich. So when I have had to stop in the proximity of Panera in Warwick to meet up with a coworker, my breakfast options were them or McDonalds.. so Panera got the nod. So i walk in and order a ham, egg and cheddar on a jalapeno bagel not expecting much... I pick up my overpriced, undersized iced chai and stroll over to the food pick up area... and to my surprise the got a nice little flat top setup and the guy is cracking fresh eggs into it.. then said egg goes onto my bagel, with a decent slice of cheddar, some ham and heads to a panini press... not bad Panera. All in all it was a tasty little breakfast sandwich... Chai was super sweet.. pass in the future... and pricey.. but.. it will do in a pinch.

We live close by and tend to come in for a breakfast to eat in or at times order a couple sandwiches to go. Always good food and friendly service here. You always get the people who want to plug in their laptops and sit in a booth all to themselves because of the free Wi-Fi. But what are you going to do? We've seen families sitting at tables because some Wi-Fi junkie is taking a whole booth up with just themselves. Like the place but the free Wi-Fi brings in some people who just want to "Hang Out'.

I know I am well in a minority here with this place, but honestly I cannot see the appeal of it at all. As far as I am concerned its one of those places that has created a front and atmosphere through nifty advertising that everything being so fresh and cool about it justifies the long waits, mediocre sandwiches, and WAY overpriced fare no matter what you order. Honestly I have been stuck going to this place a couple of times while out with others and have left not only hungry, but feeling ripped off. Not for me, plenty of great sandwich joints around that get it right, and for a lot better price...
